Business Volunteers Unlimited (BVU) engages, connects, and strengthens businesses, nonprofits, and the community. 
 

What We Do

BVU is committed to supporting our mission by providing a variety of volunteer engagement opportunities for businesses and the community to engage in meaningful service.

The Volunteer Center at BVU offers hundreds of date-specific and on-going volunteer opportunities with hundreds of local nonprofits. We also organize community wide Days of Service and Business Team Volunteer Projects.
 

Our Story

Since 1993, Business Volunteers Unlimited has connected thousands of individuals to direct service volunteer opportunities at hundreds of Northeast Ohio nonprofit organizations with the vision that Northeast Ohio businesses engage in volunteerism as a catalyst for a strong and vibrant community. Affiliations

In 2007, the HandsOn Network and the Points of Light Foundation merged into one single organization; creating the world's largest global volunteer network. A decade later, Points of Light operates through a network of innovative volunteer-mobilizing organizations located in more than 250 cities across 37 countries. Together we serve 83% of the nation. Points of Light envisions a world in which all individuals discover the power to make a difference and are equipped as active, engaged citizens. BVU is the official HandsOn Network affiliate for Northeast Ohio.
