Get Serving at Grace's Kitchen
Volunteers help serve dinner for individuals and families in need at Grace's Kitchen at Trinity Lutheran Church in Vermilion. Once dinner is prepared by the first shift of volunteers, this group of volunteers will help serve the meal. Modifications to the project may be made to accommodate volunteers with limited mobility.
Grace's Kitchen is a community wide grassroots endeavor to provide hot nutritous meals and companionship for those in need in the area.
Age Limits: This is a family friendly project. This project is for volunteers age 10 and up. All volunteers under 18 must bring a youth waiver form signed by their parent or guardian. Anyone under the age of 16 must have a parent/guardian volunteering with them for the duration of the project.
Things to remember: Dress comfortably and wear sensible, closed toed shoes. Leave your valuables at home or in your vehicle. Volunteers are asked to stay and help clean up after the meal is served.
Where to Meet Your Leader: Ring the bell of the door closest to the street and the volunteer leader will let you in.
Special Driving Directions: Park in the parking lot closest to the street and enter the building from the east side of the building closest to the street. A Volunteer Leader will meet you at the door to let you in. Please do not leave valuables visible in your car.
