Artist / Art Workshop Leader
Artist to do portrait sketches of residents, make murals, or conduct art workshops
Duties/Tasks:
- Lead art workshops or paint murals with shelter clients, fostering creative expression. If sketching a portrait of a shelter client, foster respectful conversation in the process.
Preferred skills, background/experience:
- Desire and ability to interact with shelter clients in fostering art skills
- Volunteer has patience, understanding and enthusiasm for interacting with shelter clients
