Mission The Office of the State Long-Term Care Ombudsman advocates for excellence in long-term services and supports wherever consumers live. Message The Ombudsman Program advocates for people receiving home care, assisted living, and nursing home care. We do that by working to resolve complaints about services, helping people select a provider, providing information about benefits and consumer rights, and commenting on public policy.
