Girls Advancing With Purpose

Bridging the gaps between young women and homelessness by providing community-based programs and safe spaces that in turn empowers young girls to discover self-love, gain self-awareness, develop coping strategies, and improve problem-solving skills. Girls Advancing with Purpose (GAP) provides girls ages 10-25 with the space to feel empowered while learning to make healthy decisions. Our target population is youth at risk of homelessness. We build trust and rapport through mentoring, direct resources, and housing assistance. We envision that the young girls and women we reach gain clarity on the future direction of their lives while feeling supported. Girls Advancing With Purpose encompasses all of the tools and resources that are necessary for girls coming of age.
