Skills-based (Professional) Volunteers
BVU connects skills-based volunteers with local nonprofits to work on operational projects. BVU is seeking skills-based volunteers with marketing, HR, finance, business, and legal expertise. Common requests that we receive from our nonprofit partners are: assistance with a social media plan, SEO/digital marketing, HR Manuals, QuickBooks training, bylaw reviews, budgeting 101, etc.
Projects range from 60-minute virtual sessions up to 20 hours over the course of two to three months.
