Cleveland Heights Meals On Wheels

Meals on Wheels of Cleveland Heights. Inc. is a Non-Profit, self Supporting, independent, volunteer program, working in cooperation with the Cleveland Heights Office on Aging. The program has been serving the community since its inception in April 1978.

Meals are delivered Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday to residents within Cleveland Heights of any age who are homebound, disabled and /or convalescent.
All referrals for meal delivery are handled by the Office on Aging who provide professional assessment of eligibility. The Meals On Wheels program does not received ANY government funding, thus federal restrictions to qualify do not apply. 

Each day a volunteer hauler picks up the food from the McGregor Home and brings it to the Fairmount Presbytarian Church to be prepared for delivery by volunteers. Each delivery is TWO meals and consists of a hot meal, and a sandwhch, colad salad, dessert, piece of fruit and a carton milk. NO deliveries on federal holidays or when the Cleveland Heights/Univeristy Heights School district is closed due to inclement weather.

Positions needed , MEAL DRIVERS, DRIVER TRAINEES SUBSTITUTE POSITIONS ARE ALWAYS WELCOMED!
