2025 Volunteer Meal Packing with CHA - at your location (cost associated)

Through our work, Children’s Hunger Alliance (CHA) provides healthy meals and snacks to food-insecure children across the state of Ohio. We advocate for legislation to improve the welfare of Ohio’s youngest citizens and teach nutrition education to those we serve. 

Supporting our critical work through financial gifts and volunteerism provides CHA the resources we need: time, talent, and treasure –to help feed hungry children in Ohio. childrenshungeralliance.org/givemeals

In this unique opportunity CHA brings our volunteer meal packing of our shelf-stable weekend meal boxes to your location! 
Reach out to learn more about how, 20-30 people and up to 2 hours of your time can turn into 700 weekend meal boxes for kids in need. 

All meal packing events are scheduled select M-F 11am-4pm and based on need/demand of the agency. Specific space requirements and schedule can be discussed when you contact us. An example volunteer engagement experience may have a 11am arrival with your team unloading our van. 12pm full group begins packing meals. 1pm Reload the Van and CHA departs to distribute meals throughout the state of Ohio to kids in need!

Due to rising meal supplies costs and our increased numbers of sites and need across NEO, host site would be requested to invest in our work with a mission driven gift to help offset the cost of this onsite mobile team-building event.
