America SCORES Cleveland Soccer Game Day Support

America SCORES Cleveland has an innovative tri-curricular approach that teaches kids how physical activity, creative expression and teamwork nurtures a strong body, mind and character. Through daily, team-based soccer and writing workshops and annual community service projects, SCORES measurably improves fitness, literacy and communications skills, and empowers kids to create change in their communities.
Every Fall and Spring season, 3rd - 8th grade students participate in 6 soccer games during their 11 weeks of programming. Students will play against various schools at two recreation centers (east side of Cleveland and west side of Cleveland). SCORES is looking for volunteers to help support game day needs by helping referee, sign in parents/caregivers, and set-up/tear down fields. Game days will be every Thursday starting April 3rd, 2025 and ending May 15th, 2025. We are looking for volunteers from 3:00pm - 7:00pm at both recreation centers (Thurgood Marshall Recreation Center and Michael Zone Recreation Center).
