Old Brooklyn Farmers Market
About the event
Food to sustain. Art to inspire. Community to share it with. The Old Brooklyn Farmers Market brings the community together on Thursday evenings every summer in the neighborhood’s Brighton district. Market visitors can find locally grown produce and a variety of high-quality products produced right here in the Cleveland area while they enjoy live music and art demonstrations.
What will volunteers do?
As the Old Brooklyn Farmers Market continues to expand our programming and grow into one of Cleveland's most unique and engaging summer markets, we need volunteers to help us deliver an experience residents will be excited to join. Volunteer work may include simple tasks such as setup and tear down, or working the OBCDC resource tables. Above all, every volunteer’s most important role at the market is to contribute to a welcoming atmosphere that helps all our visitors feel at home.
What will volunteers need to bring or wear?
We recommend wearing comfortable shoes as you'll be walking around on uneven surfaces between grass and cement. Clothing without branding or political messaging is recommended, but up to OBCDC staff discretion. Bring a reusable water bottle for water refills and cash/credit for snacks.
