Community Clean Up
About the event
Corridor Clean Ups help to beautify and maintain our neighborhood! By joining us, you're helping to keep the streets and sidewalks looking clean and landscaped. It also improves the walkability of sidewalks and provides a clean community for everyone who calls Old Brooklyn home!
What will volunteers do?
Depending on the day and route, you'll be helping to: Clean up weeds and flower beds along one of our corridors or pick up trash or other debris.
What will volunteers need to bring or wear?
When you join us a corridor clean up, we'll have you covered on equipment! We will have pickers, trash bags, buckets, shovels, and hand tools for every need. If you have a pair of gloves you like, feel free to bring them along! Otherwise, we have all the tools you'll likely need. Bring a reusable water bottle and wear close-toed shoes and clothes that can get dirty.
