Shoes & Clothes for Kids Back to School Bash

With the help of several Community Resource Center partners and non-profit organizations, SC4K will provide access to free backpacks, school supplies, diapers, health and vision screenings, haircuts, food, and other resources to help kids and families prepare for going back to school.

Help make the event fun and successful! From staffing registration tables and directing parking, to making cotton candy, serving as the emcee, and breaking down the event at the end of the day, volunteers are needed to help our small staff carry out this busy day. 

Tasks include:

Set-up prior to the event

Tear-down after the event

Running stations such as registration, concessions, games, parking/directions, distributing backpacks, etc.

Most tasks will require standing, but some could accommodate sitting

All activities are outside weather permitting and volunteers are needed between 9am – 4pm.
