House of Champions

MISSION: To provide a nurturing and safe environment where children learn the skills and confidence to be successful in life. VISION: To unlock the full potential of children who have access to minimal resources. PURPOSE: The House of Champions is an after-school program set in a nurturing, home-like environment for high need, low-income children in grades 2 to 4 living in the urban Cleveland community. Our program uses a combination of paid staff and volunteers to work directly with the students to foster social/emotional learning and improve academic performance, as well as help meet the dietary needs of the children by providing daily nutritious meals and snacks. We work with each child to develop and instill the confidence and skills necessary for success in school and life.
